What matters to you?
How the model works
Each neighbourhood has a Mikey Korea editorial score from 1–5 across eight dimensions. Your sliders become weights. The final score is a weighted average, so the result changes because your priorities change — not because the page secretly pushes one district.
This is an editorial planning model, not a claim that every hotel or street in a district feels the same. Prices and ambience vary within each area. Use the result to narrow your search, then check the exact hotel and station exit.
How to use this result well
Method
The matcher is an explicit editorial scoring model. You choose the importance of airport access, nightlife, shopping, culture, calm evenings, food, budget and central sightseeing; the neighbourhood scores respond to those weights.
Limits
This is not a hotel inventory or live-price engine. A good district can still be a poor choice if the available hotel, street or room does not fit you.
Questions this tool does — and does not — answer
Is the top neighbourhood objectively the best?
No. It is the best fit under the weights you selected.
Does it use live hotel prices?
No. Compare live hotel inventory only after narrowing the area.
Can two travellers get different answers?
Yes. That is the point: different priorities should produce different bases.
What this tool is designed to answer
The result is a planning aid, not a live booking quote. Current rules and source limits are stated on the page.
