Mikey Korea is an independent English-language guide to travel and everyday life in South Korea, published by Michael Bahk.

Our Purpose

We created Mikey Korea to help international visitors make better-informed travel decisions and enjoy Korea with less avoidable confusion. We focus on practical transport, food, shopping, K-beauty, neighborhoods and everyday culture. The aim is to explain not only what is available, but how to choose between options and what to check before committing time or money.

What Makes a Guide Useful

Our guides combine researched information, official sources and original editorial comparison. We favor concrete steps, trade-offs, realistic planning scenarios and limitations over long lists of attractions. The same destination can suit different travelers for different reasons; there is no need to present one itinerary or product as universally best.
