Mikey Korea is published by Michael Bahk. These standards describe how we prepare researched travel and lifestyle information, distinguish evidence from editorial judgment, and handle corrections.

Editorial Responsibility and AI Assistance

The responsible publisher controls publication decisions. AI tools may assist research organization, drafting, editing and conceptual illustration, but their output is not independent evidence. We do not invent authors, professional credentials, interviews, visits, tests, quotations, ratings or sources. Where a guide is based on desk research, it should be described as such rather than as firsthand reporting.

Evidence and Changing Information

For material or time-sensitive claims, we prefer the relevant government authority, transport operator, event organizer, retailer or other primary source. We record the source, date, applicable scope and what it actually supports. A document that was checked is not proof that a business or service is operating at this moment. When current information cannot be verified, we state the limitation, give an official confirmation route, or omit the uncertain claim. Source links are not a blanket certification of every sentence.

Originality and Practical Value

Each guide should solve a distinct reader problem. We aim to add useful comparisons, decision criteria, route examples, cost assumptions and limitations rather than mechanically rewording other publications. We avoid unnecessary repetition and do not add text solely to reach a word-count target. Illustrative routes and budgets are identified as examples and are not presented as personally tested experiences or live quotations.

Images and External Media

We use original or appropriately licensed material and retain provenance and rights records. Generated artwork is editorial or conceptual, not a documentary photograph of a real place, person or event. External media and feeds are supplemental; a prerecorded loop or cached item is not a live broadcast. We review relevant licensing and attribution requirements and correct or remove a disputed asset when appropriate.

Commercial Independence

Advertising, affiliate relationships and paid placements must be distinguishable from editorial content. A commercial relationship does not guarantee favorable coverage. We do not fabricate testimonials, prices, popularity or product-test results, and do not disguise advertisements as independent recommendations.

Corrections and Review

Readers can report a concern to contact@mikeykorea.com with the page URL and, where possible, supporting evidence. We assess the issue, correct or withdraw material when warranted, and update the displayed review date only when a substantive review or change has occurred. Minor formatting changes do not establish that all facts have been rechecked. Important unresolved factual or rights concerns can prevent publication until they are addressed.

Limits of Our Guidance

Mikey Korea is not a government agency, transport operator, medical service or legal adviser. Guides do not replace official immigration decisions, professional medical advice or binding service terms. Travelers should confirm material requirements with the responsible authority or provider.
