What this tool is designed to answer
The result is a planning aid, not a live booking quote. Current rules and source limits are stated on the page.
Current reference facts
- AREX all-stop current published fares include Seoul Station ₩4,750 from T1 / ₩5,350 from T2; Hongik Univ. ₩4,650 / ₩5,250.
- Seoul Metropolitan Government currently publishes AREX Express at ₩13,000, about 43 min from T1 / 51 min from T2 to Seoul Station.
- Airport Limousine 6015: ₩17,000 adult and serves central Seoul/Myeongdong-area stops; from 5 Mar 2026, tickets are required at Incheon Airport before boarding.
- K Airport Limousine 6703 to Gangnam/COEX: ₩18,000 adult, with current service information published by the operator.
- Incheon Airport publishes Seoul taxi base fare and night surcharges, but the full meter total depends on distance and traffic. This tool therefore lets you enter a live taxi quote.

Times outside the direct AREX Seoul Station figures are Mikey Korea planning estimates, not live timetables. The ranking is transparent editorial decision logic; always check the operator on your travel day.
How to use this result well
Method
The result is a planning comparison built from the inputs you provide: terminal, destination, party size, luggage and priority. It is designed to expose trade-offs rather than declare one transport mode universally best.
Limits
Traffic, queues, service interruptions and hotel-specific walking distance can change the real journey. Treat the result as a decision aid and verify the operator information shown on the page before travel.
Questions this tool does — and does not — answer
Does the tool know live traffic?
No. It compares the structural trade-offs. Live traffic and disruptions should be checked close to departure.
Why does group size matter?
A taxi is a vehicle cost while rail and bus are mostly per-person costs, so the comparison changes as the party grows.
Should I choose the cheapest result automatically?
Not necessarily. Luggage, late arrival, transfers and the final walk can be worth more than a small fare difference.
