How to use Korea Now

Korea Now is designed as a supplement to Mikey Korea's original guides. It surfaces fast-changing information that can affect a day in Seoul—weather, air quality, official announcements, travel updates and new videos—without replacing the context in the main articles.

How sources are selected

We prefer official tourism, city, transportation and public-information sources. A feed can fail, change format or publish information that applies only to a specific date or audience, so the presence of an item here should not be treated as a guarantee that a service is operating exactly as shown.

What “live” means

Weather and air-quality cards link to official services. Exchange-rate data is a dated reference, not a live transaction quote. News and video modules may be cached for performance. The connection indicator reports whether those modules responded; it is not a statement that every individual item has been independently verified at that moment.

Before making a time-sensitive decision
